All the pain
you've come to know
will one day ease
if you don't let go.
You've lost not one,
but recently two.
They have gone
and left only you.
They look upon you
from above
and smile inside
knowing they were loved.
All the tears
you've yet to shed
cannot change
the life you led.
It's not your fault,
so don't take blame.
Life is but a gift,
death a part of the game.
I've not the words
to try and explain.
Just go with the flow
and cherish the pain.
Pain lets you know
you're still alive,
though your rusting soul
aches inside.
You can't look past this now
to a better time.
but one day you will
again feel alive.

What does this poem mean? Its very well written, but I'm curious as to what it all means. I haven't talked to you in quite a while, and, honestly, this poem worries me a bit. Even if its not written to me, I still put myself in this person's shoes. I'd really like some contact with you. I've tried calling, I've emailed...and its starting to seem like its all in vain. Good poem, but confusing...

The only person worth your tears would never make you cry...
